Diwali!

Happy Diwali everyone!

Diwali is the most depressing day of the year in Italy. Also, if having a depressing Diwali in a European country wasn't enough, it had to rain all day and be dark and cloudy. However, it could be worse, right? I mean, at least this year Diwali has fallen on a weekend, and so we have some semblance of a holiday. For the last three years, I've been going to school and pretending that it's just another day.

*sigh*

It wasn't that bad this year, was it? Remind me, when did you go to bed again? :)

Sigh.
What can I say? My Diwali was singular in its vaccuousness. I miss the 10 bucks I used to get every year. It made life worth living.
Ever heard nostalgia is better than Prozac in treating depression?

What happened to your site? It was down for a while. Anyway, I wanted to say happy Diwali. I kind of feel bad because I had no idea when Diwali was, but then our family has never celebrated it. Perhaps I'm too English.

TPF: Fine, I'll stop being whingy. This year, Diwali was much better than it was for the last 4 years actually.

Szerelem: same to you :)

Eris: Poor baby, you're sick? Well, at least you got to see/hear people acknowledging the fact that it wasn't just any day.

Nitin: Yeah, I used to get about 10 bucks too. It did make my life worth living too and even though I never spent it. Well, if someone gave me 10 bucks now, I'd just be ungrateful and mentally bitch. Sometimes, I feel like such a horrible adult, it was easier being a child.

Ash: I'm not sure what had happened. I just republished the bog and it started working.

I didnt exactly know when Diwali was either until my mum told me the exact date. I know its rather shameful, at least for me not to remember it, but it changes every year. It's not our fault if we dont remember it, right? There, now we have an excuse!
